I need the can valve that will hook up to the gauge hose and the can. I bought one at Advanced Auto Parts but the threads were smaller on the gauge hose than the valve tap so they won’t connect. The man said at the parts store the threads on my gauge hose is metric. It has 1/4 opening hose on Classe 1.6 gauges I could use a little help what I need to get for the can and the couplers to connect to my low and high side ports. No good can come of that death kit you bought. If the threads don't match it is because they were made for different refrigerants. That system only holds around a pound of refrigerant, so unless you know how much is in it how do you know how much to add? I agree with HT's suggestion to have a professional AC specialist check it out. Holds for the summer. Small leak somewhere but the shop couldn't pin point it . Got tired of eating 100.00 deductibles.
