I'm not aware of any compatible hardware that will satisfactorily seal them off. Sidom Veteran / Moderator May 27, 2020, 5:28 PM Post #3 of 3 (2034 views) Re: Rear a c leak Sign In Most vehicles with rear a/c, tee off at the accumulator and high pressure liquid line and both lines run to the back. The best way to get rid of the rear a/c with the best chance for no leaks would be to replace that line and accumulator with ones for front only a/c that doesn't have the tees. That being said, once you get the trim panels off the rear a/c, it is fairly easy to leak check.
