Replacing Serpentine Belt.

1997 Dodge 2500 Van. Can someone tell me where the adjusting pulley for the serpentine belt is on this van? I think it is on the left bottom, looking from the front of the engine. Just want to be sure. Thanks, jackg.

Depends on your engine size...... Most are on the right side (passenger side) of the engine. If unsure, just grab the belt and pull it.....see which pulley pivots.....

Thanks Sidom. I didnt know they were tension loaded. Anyhow it's a 318.
