Small air flow Sign In

Have a 2001 volvo s80 2.9 non turbo Shop says feron is full When ac is engaged the air is very cold. How ever the air coming out of the ducts is not sufficent to cool car. You can turn the air off and the fan will run a good 50% faster. You can turn the recurilant switch on and makes no difference in amount of air coming out of the ducts. Have changed cabin filter and the evaporater temp sensor. Any help appreciated

Re: Small air flow Sign In

Is this a fan speed issue or something causing a restriction to the air flow out of the vents?

Does the fan speed change when you command your speeds at the control panel?

Re: Small air flow Sign In

Not sure and takes a little while to slow airflow if evaporator is icing up. You might see frosted/iced return (low side hoses) underhood which isn't right,
