You're about to learn a very expensive lesson.

First, now you have to change the compressor (new only), the condenser, dryer and expansion valve.

Then you need to know that a system cannot be charged by pressure. The refrigerant needs to be weighed and charged with the exact specified charge.

You also need to determine how much oil is in the system and replenish the correct amount.

Then and only then can you find out is the fan is working properly.

AC work is not a DIY job as you will soon find out.

something sounds wrong...
The fans do not come on - when AC selected.. I would suspect there are codes AND the AC would not engage..
SO scan and post all codes, tell us is there any modified wiring on vehicle?
What are AC pressures - static and if you remember what was Hi and low PSI when running?

This is a 2 speed fan system. You can't test anything until the system is flushed and charged with the correct amount.

My 2 cents for OP. HT said it in first reply. A/C isn't very good DIY work without extensive knowledge and understanding. You've somehow burned up two clutches which leaves only a couple reasons off the top of my head why it would stay engaged when it shouldn't by pressure and or temp switching should let go.

It's got to be seized up from improper charging procedures for a new or reman you would first spin thru oil for initial start up or could waste many compressor right away as oils don't travel until close to properly charged. If you went over the correct amount it should have shut down from high pressure too high but if restricted with junk bad enough the pressure to shut it down never gets that far.

It's already been said in here. A/C is a costly way to learn the way you are going. You can't just toss a compressor that failed quite so easily and think it's going to work - most wont if just compressor and nothing else done or observed.

Decide what you want to do. Keep learning this way or have this done properly or what. It's a total course of study not one page of info.

It does cost a lot to send this stuff out to the pros and for a real good reason you are finding out,

temp is 90 degrees humidity at 60 so 49 on low side 390 on the high side!! BLOWING ICE COLD AIR!!!!

Those pressures are way too high. Make sure you re getting 2 speeds out of the fans.

OK, if you want to buy another compressor and condenser, leave it that way. I'm a tech in South Florida. What do I know about AC.

Quick read - sorry - 390PSI high is out of control - should quit or shut down compressor or it equipped blow out excess in that area.

Basics: High side pressure should hover around 2.5 X the temp in Fahrenheit in front of the grille with fans working,

You're not close to even being in the realm of safe operation.

First of all, you can't charge a system by pressure. It simply can't be done. You totally evacuate the system and charge it with the exact weight of refrigerant specified, then and only then do you deal with the pressures.

I can tell you right now, any prolonged pressure over 275 will result in compressor failure eventually.

If you haven't verified both speeds of the fans, your system will never work properly.

it's 90 degrees out did the math 225 on the high the air coming out was around 60 degrees so I went with the advanced auto spec.
then read hammer time's post & dropped it down to 340 psi air coming out around 42 i'm happy!

hope it will last but all part's are limited life time so all is good!

THANK YOU!!

I'm going to close this question now. You obviously aren't here to listen and have your own ideas. Maybe you'll listen the next time it destroys your system.

What a mess. Probably charging by pressures and not weight. That compressor isn't going to last very long if it is going to be around those kind of pressures.

Can't tell this guy anything. He's relying on Advance Auto for advice. Good thing they stock a lot of compressors.

Hopefully he stocks up on ac flush and condensers too when they keep grenading.
