air not working

i have an 07 international truck. i have changed the compressor, dryer and the expansion valve, before i changed it the compressor came on but didnt cool. after i changed everything i drew a vacuum ,went to put the freon and it wonted go in. i jumped the compressor it took one and a half can.the gauge showed to be the right amount but not cooling at all, the compressor will not run on its own

If you put a vacuum on the system, and you couldn't get refrigerant to go into the system, either you didn't pull a vacuum on the system or you have faulty equipment. If you didn't pull vacuum, you have air and refrigerant mixed in the system now. I suggest you take it to a shop that has the proper equipment to charge it up for you. As HT stated AC systems are charged by refrigerant weight and not pressures. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

amoscradersr : You mentioned "cans" so that and calling it "freon" means you shouldn't be touching this without some help and you are here so that's what I suggest - get help, T

this goes to all .just wonted everyone to know air is working. the expansion valve was no good
