I bought a used 2004 honda accord this past summer that has 68,000 miles on it. everything works well except that now its changing seasons the defroster engages the air conditioning but otherwise the heat works in other positions. The previous owner installed a new bluetooth stereo and I wonder if wires or connections could have been crossed?? How do I get to the inside of the dash. Thanks for any help or ideas

That is exactly the way it is designed to work. The AC compressor is engaged to removed moisture from the air.

Most cars are wired that way now.

Question closed now as solved.
