The vehicle won't run or run poorly if you bypass the sensor. It's a critical input to the engine computer. Why would you want to do that? The signal from the flow sensor varies, so there really is no way to bypass it. It might also be used as feedback into calculating the amount of duty cycle the solenoid valve gets.
