got a 2001 corvette and dont no nothing about cars lol but the car is over heating and its not the water pump or anything like that i just got air in the cooling system and i need to know how to bleed it out of the lineWink

Well you really need to find out why there is air in the system. You won't just get air in the system for no reason. There may be a leak or there are exhaust gases going into the cooling system. How do you know that the water pump is moving fluid through he system? More investigating is recommended. Also the thread right above yours has some good information about purging air out of cooling systems.

Hey, Jeff; I heard that since air is heavier than water, you can poke a hole in the lower radiator hose and drain the air out there.

Ya but put a bucket under there so the air can be recycled. Be green!!
