How do I back flush the heater core on a 1999 Ford Taurus SE station wagon V6 3.0L OHV?

I can't think of one way that fits all for this. Look hard at routing of hose, metal pipe may also be used and molded hose not really good to re-use at this point.

If not showing and problem at all now and coolant just being serviced as a routine I'd just let one way flushing do and leave it at that,

Get a water hose with a nozzle. Disconnect the heater core hoses. If you have a spare piece of heater hose, install that onto one of the heater core pipes. Use your water hose and flush the core backwards and forwards. Make sure animals don't drink the coolant.

Note that most heater cores have extremely small tubes and are in parallel flow configuration. You may not be able to flush all the tubes free if they are clogged. Don't use any chemicals.
