2000 Nissan Xterra...auto...6 cyl... as long as the car is moving the AC works fine...blowing around 35 degree air....stop at a red light or when u just crank it...anything where the car shifts to idle...the AC gets warm. my mechanic if completely out of ideas

Apparently, he is not an experienced A/C tech. Someone with the correct experience will be able to identify the cause of the problem.
