daughter's '98 escort pulled in the driveway shaken & shivering . Popped the hood & saw it was all the radiator . Shut off the car ; restarted it & discovered the problem quit when A/C was turned off. WHATS UP !!?? Chas

The AC merely adds more load to the engine. If the engine already has issues, the load will exagerate it more.
Start out by having the computer scanned for any stored codes.
