Wow first post got lost from lagg..so ima keep this short and simple, I have a knock coming from the front in my 5spd Milan, on take off if I be gently on releasing clutch I can avoid it from the torque, if I start in second gear it's pretty easy to not make it knock...any other speed or gear tho , if I step on it will do it,
say I'm in third gear around 50mph at 3k rpms, hold speed for a sec then step on it it would do it...some loud so.e very faint, friend says it its the ball joint, but when I go to auto stores the pic they have with lower ball joint include control arm, and that is connected under axle and looks fine, the leaking joint that is leaking on both sides is I'm guessing a tie rod, which is connected lower, kinda inside wheel behind the axle ...doest make sound on bumps or speed bumps, but deff has a bad wobble at speed
please need help/advice on identification of the sound, and which part I should inspect or replace...also installation help on it would be great. I try and do all my repairs and haven't done this yet
