My 1977 Lincoln Mark V has recently been leaking power steering fluid which leads me to believe that the pump is out. I added fluid and it worked fine until the fluid was gone, when this happened the steering wheel will turn 360 degrees with no resistance instead of just being hard to turn. What other parts should I look at besides the pump?... Thanks for the help, Josh

How about everything. Everything in the system has fluid. Why would you just assume it was a pump? Could be a pump, a hose, a steering gear. You need to actually find the source of the leak. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
