2003 ford focus steering wheel play

I am working on this car for a friend of mine. She noticed play in the steering wheel after she had the tires rotated. I checked the suspension and everything looks good - tight and in good shape. I don't know much about rack and pinion. Is there an adjustment that can be made to tighten the steering? Or any thoughts on my best solution? Thanks!!

No, there isn't. Make sure they didn't leave anything loose.
