2010 Avalanche issues while turning in auto or four wheel drive Sign In

Recently I noticed grumbling beneath the front passenger side of my truck while banking left. Discovered that I had a bad wheel bearing. Pulled up a few videos and swapped it out (really tough hub assembly removal). After install I noticed that reversing or turning in auto or four wheel drive was met with resistance. I should probably make note of the fact that I used an impact on just about every bolt. Hope I didn't over-tighten anything or compromise the cv joint in the process. I could really use your help on this one.

Hmmm. Air/impact wrenches it's up to you to know if causing a problem or don't "tighten" things with them.
I'm reading this as a new problem and you found for sure bearing was the problem I hope after bad one is in hand it's obvious?

I also take it that's fine now but just feel "resistance" with turning OR reversing??
It's a guess now that the brake is jammed and you notice it now is somehow not back together properly or was a time to check any problems with pads, slide pins and general wear.
Did you have all that apart bracket and pads fall out, pins out and re-lubed you would when there?
In short - go back right there both fronts hoisted with it in RWD only and see what went wrong. If you confused up parts, rattle clips there's room for a problem hope nothing busted but quick compare to other side now as a reference for this one. If brake items broken or found the problem do both side evenly,

Also I have no problems in 2 wheel drive. Only auto and 4. The wheel bearing was most certainly bad (which was evidenced by play in the old hub assembly). Although I cleaned and lubed nothing before install. Maybe I did reassemble incorrectly. I'll check and post results.

OK, there is the "auto" not just 2WD option for 4WD. I plead I can't know that one's game plan if you will.
Any which way this seemed to happen with replacing it or something damaged by bad one or the replacement.
Hope you kept the old bearing and both your checking it before anything and now in hand does it have any ''free-play" or just grinding when spun either before or after?
I ask because by the time bearings cause free-play they are really toast opens other problems lucky wheel didn't explode and fall off or something.
Understood you'd like a web answer or suggestions at some point it's going to take a pro that does this find what got damaged or I always mistrust new parts depending on the source now. Too much gets "cloned" and the copy doesn't come out so well in the name of low costs,
