Front End Bouncing

2003 Chevy Cavalier over 200000 miles
Had an accident in it. T boned on back driver side.
replaced axle got new tires and it rode fine for like 3 months.
new brakes and rotors new full assembly suspension done two new rims and two more tires later
the front end bounces, it does not wobble (side to side) the steering wheel does not shake, when I brake it is smooth
I just can not figure out this bouncing and I have spent tons of money already on parts
did the bearings in the wheels, also had the transmission redone. engine works fine
The bouncing happens when i hit speeds over 30. feels like a rapid bouncing as i drive faster
I have had a power steering leak for as long as ive had the car and the rack and pinion need replacing
i dont know alot about cars but i dont think the rack and pinion would cause this bouncing would it?

OK - Lots has been done and this issue.
I'm not sure what you mean with the word "bouncing" as a description? Do you mean like it's lost shock absorber feeling or some kind of out of balance wheel/tire thing?
For right now and just because, make sure the lug nuts to wheels are properly tightened. Stupid stuff like leaving them finger tight happens just rule that out now. More apt to loosen of left wheels if so but check all,

its just that, a bouncing. i dont bounce hard like as if my shocks are out, those are new and ive been doing lots of checking on the tires to be certain that it was not a bad rim or tire and switching them around and making sure they are on tight.
i had some work done on the transmission. i feel now that maybe there are just some things loose and knocking around under the hood :/

Did you have this thing aligned and made sure the SAI in within specs?

Steering angle inclination. If that angle is off, there is usually something bent. If the alignment was good according to the print out, something else is probably going on.
What was done on the transmission? Did the problem start after the work on the transmission?

no correction or check of the SAI but i just changed the rims yesterday and the bouncing was occurring even before that

i did the transmission because there was a grinding sound (bearing problem) he did a full over haul since he was already going to have to open her up. but the grinding stopped, got my power back in my acceleration. just cant stop this bouncing

If it is a repetitive bouncing at 30 mph, it usually has something to do with the wheels. They do have tire balancers that measures road force variation. That would be one way of figuring out there is a bad tire. Have you had the vehicle in the air and spun the tires by hand while watching how the thread runs? Sometimes you can see tire problems visually.

Yeah it's the front end just don't know what. Did one driving just now and it can't be the mounts, I revved the car up real high and there is not jumping. So it could be the shocked or something like that again  but I just had those done like a year ago, before the accident though

Glad you found the problem and know the fix. You aren't the first to have a shock go bad early or even no reason. Do check as plenty have "lifetime" warranties.
