I have a 2002 Chev Silverado 2500 Hd .Truck has 122000 mile with a Duramax and a Alison transmission . Truck is 4 wheel drive . I have had the truck for a little over a year . Since I have had it I hear a noise coming from the left front . Sounds like a bearing with a flat spot .So I replaced the left front bearing and hub . If I turn the truck to the left while driving noise goes away and when truck straightens out noise comes back .Before I got truck it was involved in an accident taking out the driver side fender .I recently had new tires put on and the rim was straight

Same symptoms with new hub/bearing and tires as before? Next is take 1/2 shaft out and check and expect CV joint to be the cause. Bearings and such, nice to feel the problem when out and in hands so you know it's really the issue you should feel it vs being installed is mostly real good guessing till out IMO. Your symptoms of going quiet while turning are opposite the norm for a CV joint to me but that's what is turning. Bearings you are just shifting the load on one side - that while driving along at some speed. So this accident was BEFORE you owned it and might not know if that was worse than just sheet metal of fender or what damage? Wheel spins true now but do you know for sure if it was replaced and that could have been worse than meets the eye now? Probably not now and just a maybe that was the original reason now yours, T
