Hdlp with 01 Ford Windstar steering shaft

Long story short I had car jacked up with subframe unbolted and engine dropped to ground pslling the steering shaft out. I unbolted the column and got the shaft back in but now I cant get the the column to line up to be bolted back up. Even if I turn the steering wheel I cant get it even close to were I need it. Any suggestions?

Good bye clock spring.
Not sure what you mean by column lined up. Do you mean you can't line the splines of the intermediate shaft to the steering column shaft?
