Buy an Escalade. It was engineered to ride like a luxury car, your Sierra was made to ride like a work truck.

How about taking an old boat caddy body off and put my cab and bed on the caddy frame and add an IRS, add a few mods and component upgrades?

Or put a front clip on from a XXX and a IRS from a XXX add a few mods and component upgrades?

Buying an Escalade is way down on the list, I was hoping for something less involved than the two I mentioned.

I wanted it to be serious, was hoping for some ideas on "Reengineering" my front suspension. I've seen some '50s trucks that had front clips from Cameros and Mustangs put on them and IRS from Vetts or Jags or the likes but I was hoping someone done something simpler.

Just a day or two ago you were berating me how you would have to be living off of rice and Kool-aid just to be able to put the new gas tank into this that you needed. You said you only live off a small disabilty check. Disability must have given you a raise or you must've been buying some good lotto tickets, cause now all of a sudden it seems money is no object and you're ready to do this thing up like its on Overhaulin or something.

Those hot rod trucks you've seen have anywhere from $50,000 to $100,000 tied up in them by their owners who put all their overtime pay and a bunch of their regular time pay into it to make it like that. Its not a bolt-in deal.

The Escalade is coming out cheaper.

This question is becoming pure stupidity and nonsense.

I guess I am using the wrong forum for this question, you're mechanics and fine ones at that for you helped me, I suspect you prefer manufactures specs. I don't have a problem with reengineering, moding, and fabricating.

Actually after my last post I did a Google search and there are kits manufactured to reengineer these trucks suspension to all sorts of configurations.

Also there are a few show that is all about modifying its just that I haven't had cable in so long that I don't remember the names.

Let's call this thread solved, sorry fellas.
Sincerely xJohn Doex
