I have a 2003 Ford Taurus V6, 3.0L engine, 200K miles. I had the power steering pump replaced 3 weeks ago when I saw fluid geyser from the reservoir when the engine was turned off. As soon as the new pump was installed and car started, it did the same thing. No idea what might be causing it. Fluid that's left in the reservoir is foamy when the engine is turned off.

If the reason you had the pump replaced is for that problem to begin with, you should have them find out where the air is getting sucked in. Steering rack that is sucking in air can cause that issue. Have them attempt to vacuum bleed the system and see if it holds.
