Power steering leak Sign In

I took my car in for an oil change. They said I have a bad valve cover gasket and a power steering oil leak.
I currently have no issues with steering or any whirring noise and the fluid level is full. Their was black all over the cap and sides wjich I assume is oil. As a valve cover gasket will cause oil to leak I am questioning their being any issue with the power steering.
What else should I examine/look for?

What year, make, model, engine and miles?
What type of place is saying this to you? A quickie lube joint?
If so or anyone could plain spill oil to do an oil change no telling what pars it gets on suggest YOU wipe it all down dry cloth or paper towels as best you can. See if it returns look high on suspect areas for it to return.
If active it about has to be making a spot where you park it most if you do the same spot check. Otherwise I say something was spilled easy to do.
Last if you can find it isn't more than anything just normal light seepage in an older vehicle and they told you it need that take it somewhere else for a check but check it daily or more if worried don't let it run out of anything,
