Tin can noise at low speeds Sign In

Hi,
I drive a 2004 Kia Spectra LX with a 2.0 engine and 221,000 miles on it. The engine operates great, but lately I have been hearing what can best be described as a tin can loosely being tossed around in the passenger side wheel well area. I took video of the area with the car in motion. I'm wondering if you anyone recognizes the sound and/or knows what would cause this noise? Think link to the videos is here.https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBdJlCCicS9Ttf7dqJijlng

? I hear a belt sqeek sound but video isn't helpful. Check the belts, brakes - take them apart to see well, other services up to date and for rattles noises pay attention to exhaust heat shields and the backing plate of breaks if wheel is in motion can be bent, bend it back if so.
All else noises are frequently going to be best in person with a qualified tech,

Those are some good recordings.
It's a strange noise. It sounds like something is loose or getting caught in the wheel.

I see you have a new lower control arm. Go back over everything to confirm everything is tight like the lug nuts and axle nut.

Video can be tough because some noises can "transmit" but if for sure the noise is coming from the RF wheel, then more than likely you have a bearing going bad, the axle would need to be looked at as well but those usually make noise on turns more than going straight.
