I have a 1999 ford escort with a 2.0 engine. I don't know. with 206,000 miles and I am finally changing my struts for the first time. my problem is that I changed the back struts and springs and on one side I can fit 4 fingers between my tire and the wheel well but the other side I can only fit 1 finger. what would cause this. when I replaced the struts I replaced everything. the struts, the springs, the strut sleeve and the part that mounts to the car it self. I would have reposted but I could not figure out how.
