hi, can anyone help please. recently while attempting cv joint replacement, the hub nut wouldn't come off so i got my neighbour to have a go at standing on the breaker bar. he got a bit animated and while standing on the bar to loosing the hub nut the whole lot bent (brake disc tilted downward as car was jacked up). it wasn't til putting on the wheel after replacing c.v joint that i noticed the wheel wouldn't fit(as brake disc was bent downward and inward). i just tilted the wheel to position it in until the nuts could be put on. after tightening the nuts i stood bask and saw it was only slightly inwards so thought the weight of the car would fix this. i then let the jack down and watched as the car dropped. it looked fine but when driving i now hear a woop woop woop noise and its getting worse. just wondering if anyone can help

Too late now whatever this car is. You've managed to bend it up beyond repair now and will need a new shaft, lose core charge if noticed and who knows with the hub bearing. Air tools beat brute forces like that. Vehicle is out of use till fixed now - anything that got damaged, T

Site had a burp - fixed now. This job damaged stuff badly. I'm not going to dig out the check for the model but slamming and banging everything around and using wild forces to bend things leaves this now like a car accident IMO. You can now treat this like it was in a car accident by how you described the show. Takes a mega ton press to work on some of those hubs and you don't rent or do those yourself or only part of the job. About now I can't guess what has been ruined from this botched attempt you plain are not equipped for, T

I agree with Tom. Maybe it is time to take it to your mechanic. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
