Drove from Miochigan to Arkansas and the undercarrige is coated with trans oil. Has been serviced regular, fluids at proper level. Any TSB's on this?

Can you pinpoint where the fluid is coming from?

not really. Starts right below the transfer case crossmember and goes back. Looks like it comes from the top of the crossmember or in that area.

transfer cas is dry. The bottom of the crossmember that holds the transfer caes is wet. Seems more wet on the passenger side. Just wondering if anyone has heard of ant TSB's on these. Thanks

how much fluid was the trans down? I took the time to look at TSB's - There is a TSB but limited to Allison trans - in twelve years it was not an issue, I do not suspect it is now relevant and the cost - might want to look for a leak before following TSB. Maybe our trans guru has another idea... TSB 10-07-30-001B remember TSB's are NOT free.

Put it in the air and checked transfer fluid, right up. Trans fluid is also good. Just making a mess underneath and has the owner concerned.
