07 Altima SE, 3.5, Need Clutch disc or kit? Where can I find? Sign In

I have a 2007 Altima SE, 3.5. We have looked locally and online for a clutch disc but can't find one. Can't even find a kit for it. Really don't want to have to go to dealership.

I have found on some sites the Exedy NSK1008 will fit then other sites say it won't. The manufacture date is 12/06 which apparently makes a difference. Anyone have any idea if this one will fit my car or where I can find one that will?

Or if anyone knows of anywhere I can send my worn one to have it rebuilt?

Does seem to be a problem with regular parts outlet. Whole sets of about everything about $600 bucks!

Pics from NAPA's site if it stays showing. Set part # NCF1106084. Said call for availability - not sure what that means and can't call today to there.

May be stuck with a dealer only?

If your going to have the transaxle out for a clutch service, it would be wise to replace the clutch disc, concentric slave, pressure plate, pilot and have the flywheel machined or replaced. It pays 13.8 hrs for a pro to do a clutch service on that, so it would be dumb to replace just the disc.

Dealer parts may be your only option, so get the lube out cause it is going to go in really deep.

Quote
CAUTION:
^ If transaxle assembly is removed from the vehicle, always replace CSC (Concentric Slave Cylinder). Return CSC insert to original position to remove transaxle assembly.
Dust on clutch disc sliding parts may damage CSC seal and may cause clutch fluid leakage.
^ Be careful not to apply any grease to the clutch disc facing, pressure plate surface and flywheel surface.
^ If flywheel is removed, align dowel pin with the smallest hole of flywheel (for VQ engine models).
^ Replace clutch disc and clutch cover as a set (for VQ engine models).

Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
