Can someone please help me? I have a 1995 Ford Ranger Supercab v6 4.0L. I drove my truck to work and it was fine, no problems. After work, I got in my truck and tried to start it up as usual. It acted like it wasn't going to start and felt like a HUGE power drain happened. Then it started up. The problem is that when I shift it into reverse, it won't go! It runs, but it won't drive in any gear....not in drive, L1,L2, or reverse. I had the transmission rebuilt just a few years back and I have some strange feeling that this issue is electrical. I've asked several co-workers if they have any clue......but since all of us teachers are women.....they know nothing more about a car besides what scent their Yankee Candle Air-freshener is!!!! My car is stuck in the parking lot and I need some kind of help identifying what the problem is. PLEASE help me......I can't carpool with these women much longer! lol

An electrical issue won't cause this problem. You should check the basics first, fluid level & condition, take a look underneath and make sure nothing is hanging down. After that you are probably looking at a internal problem......
