Speeedomter does not work but other gauges work. Sometimes oil gauge is a little twitchy. Check gauges light will come sometimes for short intervals. When truck starts moving it is obvious that trans is in high gear. I can force into low gear by moving the gear selector to a lower gear. I did not notice a speedometer cable on the trans and I am assuming it is electronic. Are the two issues related? Any suggestions where to start to fix it? Thanks Alan

I know on most vechicals that are electonicaly shifted they need input from VSS (Vechical Speed Sensor) in order to Sh!t properly. I would work on getting speedo fixed first, expecially if the problem only arised when the speedo became inop.
