2002 Jeep Wrangler transmission noise

Hey guys. I have a 2002 Wrangler with 4.0 and 5 speed manual. There is a very noticeable ticking sound coming from it. It goes with the engine speed but fades away with just the slightest pressure on the clutch pedal. Any ideas what this could be? TIA

Mystery noise? Always a challenge. Is it noticed inside or outside more if you can tell?
It may or may not be any actual transmission problem rather the clutch parts or shields if you just look may see the reason? Damage or IDK a bit of road (off road?) debris caught up at or around there underside?
