Merry Christmas Lets look at simple easy first- hoping a question will lead to a diagnostic path. 1)Why did you put "Lucas" in trans - was there a issue before that went uncorrected? 2) Is the Check Engine light on? any ANY codes or issues? 3) stupid but I got to ask - is transfer case in N ? should be 2wd ... 4) did you check ALL fuses- underhood fuse box? Disregard if you have a remote starter,

This problem is going to be all mechanical. Reverse is all mechanical, so if you have slipping or no engagement, but the shifter linkage and the drive shaft is connected, you are going to need to have the transmission and transfer case removed after verifying line pressure. Then torn down and inspected to see what failed and what the best course of action is to repair your problem. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
