Hi Everyone i have a 2003 Chevy Cavalier 2.2, with 125k miles, recently had the transmission fluid/filter changed. (also had fuel filter & oil changed at same time) The fluid was not burnt, still red, and no metal shavings. Never had issues with the transmission before. the problem is after leaving the highway after a few miles and coming to a stop my car will slip in first and after a few seconds hard shift into second. now this will only happen if i coast all the way to a stop. if i hit the gas petal at all during the off ramp it will not occur. if i wait longer at the stop sign the problem will not occur. have check the fluid to make sure it wasn't too full or low, doesn't have a dipstick, has an overflow plug. change the filter again, even though the chance was extremely small, hoping the filter was the problem. looking for any suggestions/help, anything!!!

You've pretty much done what you can with out getting into a teardown..... The best thing now would be to take it to a tranny shop and let them take if for a test drive....
