2003 Focus transmission

From 40 mph on past 55 mph it shifts in and out of lock-up torque converter...at least, that is how it feels...drives me crazy. Accelerate to 70 and it is OK.

Hello,
Is the trans have code P0741? There is a common issue with the pumps on this trans, there are 2 bushings in the stator part of the pump, when the bushings wear out, it will affect how lock-up works and usually throws a 741 code. Gary
