My first thought is motor mounts allow too much motion tugging on a wire or plug perhaps. At least rule that out. If found IMO it caused it not the cure find out which wires couldn't take it, T gsferraro Veteran Mar 19, 2019, 4:02 PM Post #3 of 3 (1302 views) Re: 2004 Chrysler Town and Country dies in reverse Sign In Hello, Checks the mounts(agreed) also, make sure then air box is all hooked up, when you select reverse and the "snorkel tube" is cracked it may allow additional air in and stall the engine. Could be the trans but check this first.
