Just had a transmission replaced (after it blew) in April, and have recently noticed that there is some hesitation when I first start the car in the morning, when it comes to shifting into drive or reverse. Now my question is.....does an engine tune up have an effect on the performance of the transmission? I'm trying to find out whether or not it is a transmission problem or a "I need to get the car tuned up" problem...
