2004 lancer ralliart clutch problem Sign In

its been a whole year probably more, but I've replaced my clutch and fly wheel with the throw out bearing and slave cylinder. I have tried to bleed the slave but still have no pressure after the slave have been bleed. Today I went back and re-bleed the slave and the master clutch cylinder, still no pressure. I have noticed that after I bleed the master and the clutch slave I get a little pressure but when I start the car the pressure is gone. can this be the clutch master, the slave or would it be the clutch sensor in the car?

This is to say you've been driving this a whole year without a clutch or just poor disengagement? Not so good for the trans.

Anyway - yes it can be the master and you could check it by blocking it off and feel pressure or some set ups really need pressure or vacuum bleeding or you never get all air out,

More air? Have you pressure bled this system out? IF not you'll have to try that.
Hey - letting a car just sit for a whole year garaged or not you are close to fuel problems and if not on an auto battery maintainer the battery is toast now too so why are you waiting?

very true but luckily for me I drained all the fuel out of the tank except for what is in the rail and the battery was taken out. on the other hand no I haven't tried to pressure bleed the clutch yet and want to but have no clue on how to or where to take it too. first thing Monday I will go and talk to a personal mechanic to see if he can give me hand with this issue and hopefully it gets resolved so I can either drive it again or sell it

Good move. Air or let's call it any vapor will mess up this show. Think - air floats on top of liquids. That and the smallest amount will expand with heat and the hydraulics has to squish that air before it can work at all.

Many, clutches especially are a pest to get all the air out and need help,
