i HAVE 2008 F150 TRUCK. RAN OVER AN OBJECT AND AFTER ABOUT ABOUT THREE BLOCKS STOPPED AT THE LIGHT AND THE TRUCK WOULD GO FORWARD WITH ENGINE RUNNING FINE. CHECKED THE FLUID AND I GUESS ALL THE FLUID HAD LEAKED OUT. i HAVE NOT FILLED IT BACK UP YET. DOES IT MEAN THAT THE TRANSMISSION GONE BAD ? I moved this and made it a new question

No, it likely means you ruptured either one of the cooler lines or the trans pan. Losing the fluid will make the truck stop. Fix the leak, whatever it is and refill it and you should be OK. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
