My 2010 Chevy impalas transmission is completely shot. It has 120k miles on it and a few cosmetic imperfections and I already bought a new car but what should I do with it? I know nothing about cars but curious if it would be worth it to try to fix up and sell or if I should try to sell as is (and for how much) or if I should consider donating it and writing it off?

You probably wouldn't get a return on the investment if you repaired it but it has a pretty good parts value to a salvage yard. Call around and see what they will give you for it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
