When ever i go to drive the car and it is in 1st, I have to rev the car up to 3-4 thousand RPM @ 20MPH to get it to shift to Second... then While in Second Do the Same thing 3-4 thousand RPM @ 50 MPH to get it to shift to 3rd... It just seems that the Tranny is REALLY SLUGISH..... It has all New hoses, New Fluid, and Filter. any help would be greatly Appreciated! If so, make sure the vacuum hose going to the modulator is connected at the intake manifold and at the modulator. Also, if equipped, when you pull the vacuum line off the modulator, if there is fluid present, the modulator needs to be replaced. If it doesn't have an external modulator, it could be a TV cable problem. Check the cable connection at the throttle linkage. I know it is adjustable, but you'll have to ask someone else how to adjust it, as that's beyond my knowledge. Good luck. I Looked under the tranny and i only saw 2 lines running to the radiator... The transmission is a 700r4.. Thanks!
