I have a 65 chevell with a 700R w/lock-up from a 90-91 corvette the lock is wired to a toggle switch ,the problem was first I lost the lock-up then one week later it started to slip in third and forth then in second now only when its cold I can only drive about 5 miles and it starts to slip in all gears ,I have checked the fluid and its full, pink and does not smell burnt. slips or no shift? how did you connect the cable to carb? also U need to check pan and filter, see if filter clogged with clutch material or anything in pan Bob Unfortunatly slips is to vague of a description to diag online, need more detail
