91 Bronco Check Engine/Transmission

I have just purchased a 91 Bronco w/351 Windsor 4x4. Just lately the Check Endine light has came on shortly following with felling a significant bump when the Automatic transmission shifts from 1st to 2nd gear. Any suggestions?

91? Check for a fairly large vacuum leak. Manifold vacuum has to do with upshifting (if that was delayed it would be rough and the leak if substantial would trigger a CEL. Might be that simple, T
