I have a 1992 Toyota Celica 2.2L GT 5-speed with 183,600 miles. I was driving through town today when I went to take off at a stop light and it seemed like the clutch did not even engage. After about 3-4 seconds of what seemed like it was going to stall out, it seemed like it was fine, then when I went to shift into second, the same thing happend. Im thinking a new clutch would solve this problem, but it also leaks/burns oil maybe these problems are related?? Any help would be apreciatied!

I don't know what a symptom like that would have to do with a clutch.
