TD23 engine starts and runs fine, when I engage gear fully release clutch a little pick the truck will drive until I release it completely the engine stops immediately. Please help

Thats how you drive a stick shift. You have to slip it a little bit when you are first starting off or you will stall the engine. You don't have a viscous coupler doing it for you like an automatic. Give it some practice and you'll get the hang of it.
