Hello.I have a Ford Focus MK2 2006 1.4 (Europe Edition) with 165000km(102000miles).
It looks thats it has an oil leak at the gearbox/differential housing.
Every day it lost a bit amount of oil(i included a picture).
What may caused the problem?
What is the solution?
Is it nessecary to fix it or can i just add oil when its needed?

That is the output seal for the differential.
The seal can be replaced but it's not a DIY type job.
Also be sure about what kind of oil you are adding and where. Make sure you are using the correct fluid and adding it to the right place.

At the car's manual it writes that is recommends
Brake and clutch fluid - Motorcraft Super DOT 4 - ESD-M6C57-A OH HELL NO! It does not say that. You may be referring to the hydraulic clutch master cylinder but definitely not in the differential and if you have already added some you need to get it to a shop ASAP.
So i actually can't just keep adding fluid as i dont know where my fluid level is and i dont have acces to the differntial(i dont have a good jack).
I know undestanted what is leaking.
I have to take it to my mechanic before i damage my transmition and differential.

Yes, that is for sure. You don't want to have to replace the whole differential for silly reasons.

One more question.Is this oil for both gearbox and differential(as i know they are in the same housing).Whats can be damaged by this leaking?Gears?Differential?Clutch?I am not sure.

FYI about oils vs clutch or brake fluids: Clutch or brake fluids will rinse off with water no soap needed. Oil for engine, gearbox would not. Keep it filled but as said you risk the box if it ran out,
