I have a 1992 Honda Accord LX 2.2 liter. The trans seems to slip to me in 4th gear. The RPM goes up when climbing hills at posted speeds. What must I do to fix this? The fluid is full & looks brand new, it is not down Shifting. Is it in a senser or computer setting?

Fluid full? By the time RPMs go up and you don 't go faster (slipping) it about always means you'll need an overhaul. Check and verify anyway but not good news for that trans, T

You sure the transmission isn't downshifting while your going up hills? Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

You never stated................. Is this actually an auto trans or a manual? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
