I have a 2002 mazda protege automatic and decided to change the speed sensor myself. No problem except for I accidentally dropped the bolt into the hole for the speed sensor. I know I f***ed up but how can i fix this? Putting a magnet on a coat hanger and try ti fish around for it? Or get a big magnet and try to find it from the outside? Is it possible to get it out by draining the fluid?

There are stronger magnetic pick up tools that are NOT too big to fish that out in most cases vs something from the outside. Not a place for any coat hanger with a magnet trick IMO,
