I press on the gas and it goes back to drive. When I switch to park the light on the gear panel does not lite. And I can't get it to go in reverse, is my transmission bad? Than I can drive off gsferraro Veteran Apr 29, 2015, 9:19 AM Post #4 of 4 (1274 views) Re: Is it bad Sign In Hello, Ok, got it, Sounds like your range sensor switch is bad, i would like to try to i.d the trans you have, if the car is in the u.s can you post your vin? If you want look under the car left side of the trans where the linkage is, see if there is a switch bolted to the trans, it will have a wire harness going to it.
