Need help with Questions about my transmission Saturn VUE 2.2 Auto	Sign In

Saturn VUE 2.2 (Dex CVT) automatic tranmission. My car is making a noise and the rpm are moving up to fast when first taking off. I figured it might be the transmission Control module. If you can help this would be great. This is a remanufactured transmission.

I simply was checking if there was an issue with the transmission fluid and looked online for answered. I figured my transmission needs to be replaced or I need a new TCM. This is my 3 tranmission. Original was replace about 4 years ago for new one. The new one was replaced with a remanufactured on about 9 months ago. And now it is making a lot noise

Curious: Does it have to fill up to the top because when I stuck my finger to see and it was empty.

Which year? AWD?

What was the failure on the last transmissions? Did they find the cause? Sounds to me like someone is fixing the effects and not figuring and rectifying the cause. Is there still a warranty on the last replacement?

We have had 2 vue 2.2 cvt's come through the dealership, both have had failed transmissions within a couple years. They are expensive to replace and have a huge failure rate. They wont buy one, no matter how cheap now. Just my take on it, I know it doesnt help you much, but my advice is to ditch that vehicle for something better.
