Can someone help please? I have a 2000 Chevy Astro that is showing the "Service AWD" light. Has anyone else had this problem and how did you go about repairing. I can usually repair my own stuff, but I need to know what I am looking for.

i would start by having the computer scanned for trouble codes...you will need to take to a shop that can scan for these type codes. usually the autozone people can only scan driveability codes with their scanners. i don't believe they can get these codes.you can ask them. once you get the correct trouble code ,then you can try to diagnose from there with a diagnostic flow chart. post back results,i.e. codes and maybe someone here can help with that. Jim, thanks for the advice. What would be making a clicking noise under the dash or just under the hood close to the Fire Wall? It sounds like a Solenoid turn on and off, at least 4 or 5 times before it stops. Where would I find the "Transfer Case Module" for my van and could these be the devil that is making the noise?
