I have a 1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse RS. Bought it last month and it drove fine until this weekend. Went out Saturday and the clutch was very soft and wouldn't engage. The gears go through fine when the car is off. I did some research and saw that my clutch fluid reservoir was empty. I filled it up with DOT 3 brake fluid, but now I think I need to bleed out the air. How do I do this? Also, if it is losing clutch fluid, what might be the problem? Thanks!

You need to first find the leak and repair it before you worry about bleeding. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
